Gathering cum Shu Fen's B'dae

Went to Kelvin's house today for a mini gathering of sorts, and when i reached, the first thing i saw was all the food on the table... lol.. A bit too much for 6 people ya... Anyway, after eating, we just sat down and chit chat... Took some random photos, and it was quite funny too... haha.... Laughed a lot throughout... We also celebrated Shu Fen's birthday after resting for a while from our heavy lunch... Really had quite some fun.. and i hope there's more of it to come... Shall share the photos...

Celebrating Christmas!

Went to Marilyn's house to celebrate Christmas, and we met at TM earlier to buy food before heading to her house. The other people arrived soon after, and the whole house was soon filled with our noise. No prizes for guessing who made the most noise though... lol...
We exchanged presents at 7pm, because some of them gotta leave early. It was a hilarious moment, and we all had a good laugh...
Dinner followed, and everyone stood around the table to have our steamboat. It was the first time i ever heard people having steamboat for Christmas, but it was a memorable feeling. There was a cozy feeling to it, and it felt as if everyone knew each other for a long time, even though some of them have only seen each other for the first time. Everyone was chatting happily, joking around, and there wasn't any feeling of awkwardness at all. And I had a very filling dinner.
After resting for a while and digesting our food, we went down to the pool to enjoy our bottle of red wine. And nothing good can happen when a lot of people are by the pool, and indeed, Marilyn was thrown into the pool, which was started by none other than me! Haha... Sorry, but it was fun!

just sat down in the living room and started talking. Went for a supper of sorts after seeing Aiting to the taxi later in the night, and came back to finish up the movie that we had watched halfway through before going out. On our way back, we witnessed a taxi knocking down a cyclist, but the amazing thing was that the cyclist stood up almost immediately and rode off as if nothing had happened! I must say the cyclist is really strong to be able to withstand such an impact, because we heard a really loud bang...
By the time we got back, everyone was feeling exhausted, and one by one, everyone fell asleep on the couch. We woke up the next morning, and went to have breakfast at Tampines before going home... To sleep again... Haha... I really enjoyed this celebration, and hopefully, every year can be as enjoyable...
I feel that my schedule for Christmas this year is really packed, but this is a good sign, because it means that my social circle is widening... I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas like i do!
Feeling tired now from the lack of sleep, so i shall end here...

Ms Koh's Wedding

Woke up at 7am today, and spent about 15 min dressing up for a big occasion... Ms Koh's wedding! Reached Tampines interchange at about 8.30, and after meeting the rest of them, meaning Sebe, ZX, YH, Mari, Deb, Sei yin, Stephen, WY and YX, we took a bus to the holy trinity church in tampines. We reached on the dot, and just a while after we were seated, the ceremony started.
The ceremony was 1 hour long, and the Father was quite entertaining at times. Ms Koh's husband even knelt and sang a song to her...
After the ceremony, we all went to tampines for Breakfast/lunch, and some of us went to town for a movie after that. Crystal joined us, and we watched Mr Magorium's wonder emporium. The movie was nice in the beginning, but got a little boring towards the end. I was somehow waiting for the movie to end.
Dinner after that at a Hong Kong cafe in Taka. The food there is quite nice... should go there and eat again some day...
Quite tired now cos i woke up quite early today... Gotta go rest...

5566 autograph session

Happy day for me today... Woke up early in the morning and went shopping with my bro, and bought a shirt for myself... Haha... finally something i can wear to ms koh's wedding... Got a treat from my bro too... Nice lunch at Delifrance... After we bought our things, we went to the 5566 autograph session...
We were quite early, so we played some games, and time passed really fast.. Soon we were able to see 5566 on stage... Thanks to my bro, who was my photographer for the day, i managed to get some pics of them... And got their signatures on my poster! haha... Quite happy for myself...

Show Autograph Session

Went for Show's Autograph session today with Shi Hui. Went there to queue up at 4pm, and the session only started at 730. When he came up on stage, everybody screamed so loudly that my ears actually felt painful. He sang three songs, one of which he sang with a few audiences, and after a short interview, he started signing autographs for the fans. We were in the queue for 2 hours before we got his autograph...
The lucky thing was, when we were in the front row, he stopped signing to take a rest! Lol... We were very lucky, and I managed to take a few pictures of him... Shall share with you all...

Malaysia Trip

Went to Desaru in Malaysia for two days from 10th to the 11th... It was supposed to be a very relaxing trip... And indeed it was... And the food there is good! Seriously, i have been eating seafood of different sorts for every meal... From fish to prawns to crabs to lobsters (yup, lobsters)... it was really nice, and the main thing was, we didn't really pay a lot for the trip, only about $170 per person. And my family had a tour guide to ourselves... Haha... don't know why... Shall show some photos i took there...

Shopping for Gift

Went out with my jc clique today to shop for Ms Koh's wedding gift... We went to Plaza Singapura to shop and to watch movie. We went to watch The Golden Compass... Quite nice, but i didn't like the rather abrupt ending... Anyway, after the movie, we went to buy the gift for Ms Koh... We all felt that the ornament was rather nice and appropriate, so we bought it... We also bought two cups, and decided to put all the gifts in one big box. And I had the unfortunate task of bringing it back... Lol... And the worse thing is, I have to carry the big box there on that day itself... Really troublesome... I managed to take a picture of the ornament in the shop, when the shopkeeper wasn't looking, and Sebe helped me block their views.. haha...

Updates

Haven't been updating for days... Not really free these few days... Haha... Have been going out everyday for the past few days. With different groups of people, but still equally fun.

Wednesday
Met up with Sebe, Heng Hiang, Pam, Yi Hua, Marilyn, Aiting and Yi Xian. Sebe and Heng Hiang both bought presents for us from Australia. Really appreciate the thought and effort. Thanx a lot!
Went to Crystal Jade for dinner, and met James Lye and his family... Lol... Walked around Orchard after that, before heading down to tcc at PS for some coffee... In the end, Sebe broke a glass and we all ran away before the waiters realised... haha... really bad, but not that i minded... haha...

Thursday
Went to K-box for some singing session with Aiting, Marilyn, Shi Hui, Kah Mun and their friends, and movie session after a few hours of singing. Watched "Enchanted", quite a nice show, though a bit lame, but still quite funny. Not too bad, worth watching. Dinner at Raffles City after that, and took a pic at the end of the day.


Friday
Went out with my mum. Was feeling guilty after she pointed out to me that i haven't been spending time with her after my exams... So i played the role of a filial child today and went for a buffet lunch with her. Not that i minded having a free and filling lunch. Thanx mum! Walked around after the heavy meal, before headed home.

That's how i've been spending my time after exams. More activities and outings coming up, and hopefully i'll really enjoy myself till school starts. Ciao!

Exams are over!

Finally... the good news that I've been looking forward to... The exams are over!!! Yay! haha... can imagine how happy I am right now... Though i guess my results will not be something to cheer about, maybe even be satisfied about, seeing how sucky i did my papers... But at least for now, i have nothing more to be nervous about! Feeling very relaxed now, surfing the web randomly, but enjoying this feeling... I'm sure everyone does... haha...
I've decided to pack my whole holidays with activities after activities... I'll enjoy myself till i forget about school, forget about my results, and by the time I go back to school in January, i'll be sick of playing... haha... Hope everyone can enjoy life the same way!

Ms Koh is getting married!

Just received a msg from Ms Koh (my Physics tutor in MJ)... She's getting married on December 22! Wow... Really happy for her... haha...

Family Day

Went to Jurong Bird Park today for my Dad's company's(PUB) Family Day. Reached there at about 10, and went to walk around the bird park. Can't really remember the last time i came here... So it was a good experience for me, and a good break from all the studying... Shall show you some pictures that i took there...

Met a tired-looking Ms Seah at the entrance when i was leaving... Kinda surprised, and said hi to her... She came with a friend... Such a small world to be able to meet someone i know at the other part of the country... On a random day at a random place... haha... Singapore is just this big...

Happenings

Went back to MJ to collect my Colours award today. The thing was quite nice. If i'd known i'd have gone back earlier to collect. But still, at least i have it now. It's our reward for all our hard work, and it's something i'll treasure a lot... Shall post a pic of it some other day...
Went to the airport to study with Marilyn and Yi Hua. On the way there, Marilyn told me the funniest joke on earth (thanx -.-').... Can't believe she'll think that way la... Maybe it's partly my fault. Should watch how i treat people in future. Lol...
When we reached the airport, we saw there are more people than usual waiting outside the arrival hall... And there were barricades too... We were thinking which superstar is coming, so we went to ask those people there, and they told us it's SHOW! haha... Pleasant surprise for us... So we waited for him for about 2 hours (eating lunch in between), and then finally he came out... i tried to take a picture of him, but i could only take a back shot of him... haha... Shall show u all the photo...

Tired

Right now, my eyes are tired, and i've been trying very hard for the past one hour to keep my eyes open, but nothing seems to work... Maybe it's a sign telling me to go to sleep soon? haha...
My arms are tired too, from carrying heavy stuff today, and the funny thing is dat i wasn't carrying my own stuff -.-' (your calculus textbook is really quite heavy...) But this aching reminds me of the physical trainings that i had during my times in MJ, under Ms Seah... i really miss those times... We used to hang out together, joking around, rushing off for trainings, fighting for taxis, studying, draining our energies in trainings and physicals, going for dinners... i miss the good old days... But now, everybody just seems to be so busy with their work, and we're not meeting as frequently as before. I'm really hoping to see everyone together soon... Oh yah, did i mention i met Osha today at Macs? haha... Great to see her after a long time... But it's not the same feeling as everyone sitting down together and joking around, having a good laugh... Let's hope everyone is free after our respective exams...
For now, gotta go study my accounting... Big problem... Ciao!

How much can a human brain hold?

has anyone thought about how much stuff our brain can actually hold before it exceeds the limit? Somehow i feel that my brain has just this much capacity, and it is filling up fast. I can feel it saturated with information, and soon, it'll reach a stage where nothing else can go in... It seems that my brain has a small capacity compared to others... I have a feeling that other people's brain can hold as much stuff as they like, but mine just seems unable to do so... Tried studying over the weekends, and i really mean tried very hard, but nothing just seems to get to my brain. Can somebody tell me how i can remember all the stuff i need to remember? and i need to sort this out fast...

Time...

I need more time. Seriously. Exams are just round the corner, starting in 2 weeks time, but i still have not started revising anything... i'm so dead :(
Seriously need to start revising, i know, but i just don't have the mood and will to sit down and read thru the note, textbooks and all..... feels like there's just so much to do, so much to handle, but there's not enough time to do everything... *sigh*
I really hope exams will be over soon, then i'll have time to hang out with my friends, and some of them whom i've neglected in one way or another... but before then, I need to overcome a big obstacle right in front of me... A very BIG obstacle...

I Saw Felicia Chin!

News of the Day: I saw Felicia Chin at canteen 13! She and Desmond Koh were there to film the new variety show on the nice foods in schools. Well, from the title, i should have known you would have guessed the news... anyway she looks quite pretty in person, under the make-up and everything... but one thing is that they took up many seats in the canteen, and many people who genuinely want to eat do not have seats.
There was an incident that i want to talk about. i saw the staff from mediacorp going around and interviewing those people who are eating korean food (they are introducing the korean food u see...). That's fine, but after they interviewed, the cameraman continued to film the people eating... -.-" i mean, don't you feel wierd when you have someone filming you while you eat? it's not a very comfortable feeling isn't it? I wonder what these people are thinking...
Ok, enough of the hype around the filming. i got back my accounting quiz today, and surprisingly, i actually passed the quiz! haha... i mean, i didn't actually expect myself to pass, let alone do rather well for this quiz... (i got 7/10) :) it's quite an improvement from the previous quiz... and i hope this will continue and not just end here. Well, at least that means that either i'm really lucky, or that my accounting is not that bad after all... i hope it's the second case... hehe...
Anyway, feeling quite full from the heavy lunch, and now going to work on my ERD diagram for my IT project... Ciao!

Stress...

Came back from 2 lectures just now, ate lunch and kinda taking a rest now.... going for dinner at canteen 14 with the floorballers soon... and studying with them after that... Exams are coming soon, and i'm feeling the stress... so much to cover, but i haven started revising anything... i'm so dead :( Time to go for dinner!

Tired....

Well, after exploring the place, now i'm feeling a bit tired.... not sure if it was due to the long hours in front of the comp or what, but i know it definitely has got something to do with the late night yesterday(or should i say this morning)? haha... well, as usual, i stayed to watch the game between Liverpool and Arsenal... and now i'm feeling the effects of staying up late to watch a match... think i'll be going to sleep soon. luckily for me, tmr's lesson starts at 1030, so dat means i don't need to wake up dat early... anyway, my eyes are closing soon... shall update again another time then....
